Dear Partner,
To adapt to a new version of Java that was recently released, Credible has accelerated its schedule for a new security certificate for signature pad use with Chrome and Firefox. With this latest release of Java, a Security Warning popup displays each time a clinician using Chrome or Firefox and a signature pad accesses a signature field in Credible. The new security certificate, available in Production on Monday, November 25th, will remedy this situation.
If your clinicians are using Chrome or Firefox as their browser and they use a signature pad, they will need to accept the new security certificate the first time they access a Credible screen with a signature field on November 25th.
Instructions for accepting the new security certificate are outlined below and can also be found in the Cross-Browser Compatibility topic in online help.
Note: the new security certificate is currently available in your test domain. Credible recommends that your staff practice accepting it so they can find out if a Java update is required on their computers.
