Deleting Saved Passwords in Internet Explorer

Your password into Credible should not be saved in your browser for security reasons. If you have accidentally saved it, here is how to have Internet Explorer "forget" it! Note that IE will forget all other saved passwords as well...

How To:

• Open Internet Explorer
• In the upper right hand corner, left click on the little gear icon
• From the dropdown menu, choose "Internet Options"
• From the "Browsing History" section of the "General" tab, left click on delete
• From the displayed list, check "Passwords" and "Preserve Favorites website data" as well as any others you wish to delete
• Left click on the "Delete" button at the bottom of the page
• Left click on the "OK" button of the Internet options box
• Done!

Another Option:

• Change your password in Credible and do not save the new password into your browser
• Sign into Credible as usual
• Click on the Employee Tab 
• Click on the "My Record" button on the lower right
• Scroll down the NavBar on the left hand side until you are able to click on the "Password" button
• Change your password in the screen that appears
• If the browser asks you if you want to save your password, decline the invitation!
