Instant Message does not display completely in popup window.

Instant messages, if they are too long to display properly on your screen, will be cut and not fully displayed. If the message on your screen ends with an ellipsis, (...), you should go to your NavBar and select Message Log to see what you missed on the display. Additionally, on some machines, the popup box clearly goes off the bottom of the screen. If it does, again, check your message log.

At the bottom of this way-too-long message is an ellipsis... (Chrome on Mac)

Example of way-too-long message running off the bottom of the screen... (Chrome on PC)

Click on Message Log to see the rest of the message or additional messages...

IM message takes over screen and you can't get rid of it on your Mac?

If you press Return and Enter at the same time it will dismiss the popup window!

Problems Pasting into Credible from Word - odd characters and behaviors...

Note from Credible Tech Support...

Yes, we do not recommend that partners copy/paste from word into Credible. It can cause a number of issues with the markup language in word and causing problems within the credible interface.

If you NEED to copy/paste from word, you can can first copy into WordPad or NotePad or Notes (within Mac), this will clear out the additional markup language that Microsoft likes to add.

One thing to check within Word:

Microsoft Word automatically changes straight quotation marks ( ' or " ) to curly (smart or typographer's) quotes ( or ) as you type.

To turn this feature on or off:

On the Tools menu, click AutoCorrect Options, and then click the AutoFormat As You Type tab.
Under Replace as you type, select or clear the "Straight quotes" with "smart quotes" check box.
Note You can find and replace all instances of single or double curly quotes with straight quotes in your document. To do this, clear the "Straight quotes" with "smart quotes" check box on the AutoFormat As You Type tab. On the Edit menu, click Replace. In both the Find what and Replace with boxes, type ' or ", and then click Find Next or Replace All.

To replace all straight quotes with curly quotes, select the "Straight quotes" with "smart quotes" check box, and repeat the find and replace procedure.

Internet Explorer 8 Support Being Discontinued

If your computer is running IE 8, it should be updated to IE 10. There are still problems with IE 11, so don't install that one. If you want to have me take a look at your computer, let me know! Mark

Internet Explorer 8 - Discontinued March 7, 2014
Dear Mark,

Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 8 Support
Discontinued March 7, 2014

As a result of Microsoft's plans to end support for Internet Explorer 8, Credible is reminding Partners that Credible will no longer support IE8. Beginning with the 8.1 Release Configuration Notes (May 2013) and as published in Credible's online help, Credible planned to stop IE support at the end of February 2014. For your convenience, Credible is extending the cutoff date for utilizing IE8 to March 7, 2014.

After March 7, 2014, your Agency will not be able to login through IE8. Partners utilizing IE8 browsers will be required to upgrade to a newer version of Microsoft Internet Explorer (9.x or higher), or utilize acceptable versions of Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or Apple Safari browsers to access Credible software.

Please see Credible Help for a detailed listing of compatible browsers.
We appreciate your cooperation, and thank you for your continued Partnership.
