Updating to IE10 - or - Credible & IE10 = BFF!!!

The folks at Microsoft have made a few updates and tweeks to Internet Explorer 10 which makes if play much better with sites using a secure connection, such as Credible and your local bank.

Please feel free to update to IE 10!

How?

(Depending on the backlog of updates this may take your computer a while to complete. Don't start when you are about to need the computer for something else.)

  1. Click your "Start" button on your computer (Remember when Microsoft used the Stones' "Start Me Up" to promote this early on?)
  2. Click on "Programs"
  3. Click on "Check for Updates"
  4. Click on "Important Updates" and select the box at the top of the list which will select allof the updates
  5. Click on "Optional" and select the boxes for "Microsoft Security Essentials" and IE10
  6. Click on "OK" button at the bottom of the page
  7. Click on "Install Updates" and let the installation begin!
  8. Your computer may need to restart several times to complete the process
  9. --You can also select and install all of the other updates. Your computer would appreciate the updates. (Don't install the "Bing" thing... It's unnecessary and kind of a pain.)
